ABOUT DKB GARDEN MAINTENANCE
I was first introduced to horticulture during Year 10 work experience, where I had the opportunity to work in a nursery and golf course. After completing high school, I completed a four-year apprenticeship with Parks and Gardens, that took place at the Melbourne Crown Casino, working on their rooftop garden.
After completing my apprenticeship, in 2006, I moved to Western Australia and worked for two horticultural companies before taking the leap of faith to begin my own horticultural business, DKB Garden Maintenance.
After a decade in Western Australia, I decided to come home to Melbourne where I wanted to re-establish my horticultural passion. Since arriving home, I have experienced long term employment at the Geelong Botanical Gardens and St Kilda Botanical Gardens respectively.
This experience has allowed me to gain greater plant knowledge and provide me with the opportunity to share my passion with the general public.
My home is now Tasmania, moving to Launceston to continue my business.
With over twenty years of broad horticultural experience, I continue to be passionate and motivated to help clients get the most out of their gardens.
